How do I become a vendor?

HFM accepts new vendor applications throughout the season. Our applications open the first week of January every season. Returning vendors have a priority deadline of February 15th and new vendors have a priority deadline of March 15th.  Find more information here. 

Can I bring my dog to the market?

Our Downtown Hillsboro Saturday Market is pet-friendly. We ask customers who plan on bringing dogs to adhere to the following safety rules:

  • Dogs must be friendly and socialized.

  • Dogs must always be on a short leash and in full control at all times.

  • Clean up any mess created by your dog.

  • Dogs are not permitted to enter vendor booths selling produce, food, or plants.

  • Disruptive or aggressive dogs will be required to leave immediately.

  • Be courteous when approaching a dog and ask permission before requesting to pet an unfamiliar dog.

Our Orenco Station Sunday Market does not allow dogs or pets. Service animals are welcome.

How do I find My Favorite Vendors?

Does HFM allow community organizations to set up a table at the market?

How can I become a volunteer?

Volunteers are essential to every aspect of our mission and we simply couldn’t do what we do without them. If you are interested in becoming a market volunteer, click here for more information.

How can I play music at the market?

We schedule our market entertainment for the entire season at the beginning of each year. See full details here.

Does HFM allow buskers at the market?

We are not able to allow buskers at this time.

Do you have a lost & found?

If you think that you have lost any personal items while at the market you may check with our lost and found at the Market Information Booth. After Market hours you can contact us at (503) 844-6685 or e-mail us at support@hillsboromarkets.org for lost and found information.

Does the market take credit/debit cards?

Many of our vendors do accept credit/debit cards, but some of them do not. You may use your credit/debit cards at our information booth to exchange for market tokens. See full details here.

Can I buy gift certificates for the markets?

Market tokens, which come in $5.00 denominations, make great gifts for family, friends or business. Tokens may be purchased at the Market Information Booth or the market office.

Can I use my Oregon Trail Card/SNAP benefits at the market?

Yes, you can! Just come by the information booth at any of our markets. See full details here.

Can I use my WIC/FDNP vouchers at the market?

Does HFM operate all the farmers’ markets in Hillsboro?

HFM operates two different markets in the Hillsboro region. Hillsboro Tuesday Night operates the Tuesday evening market every week, early June to late August from 5-8:30pm.
