La Strada dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival
This Oregon chalk art festival provides a window into the creative process wherein festival goers can engage with nationally-recognized and emerging visual artists as they carefully manipulate bold, colorful pigments to produce huge, temporary drawings down the center of the street(s); most averaging 10’x10’.

Parlor of Wonders
Tim Alexander is a retired adjunct professor of art, a visual and sound artist, a teacher of the magical arts, and as "Alexander, Master of Marvels!" is one of the busiest magicians in the region. A two-time winner of the annual Desmond Close-Up Magic Contest at the Society of American Magicians in the Portland area, and dubbed by Nickelodeon as the "Best Party Entertainer in Portland," his Close-Up Strolling Magic and "Parlor of Wonders" magic show bring astonishment and laughter to private, corporate, and community audiences across the Pacific Northwest. Appearing soon in a ballroom, auditorium, living room, library, or Zoom teleconference near you!
Portland Taiko
Portland Taiko blends the tradition of Japanese taiko drumming with a sense of Asian American identity, creativity, and empowerment. Formed in 1994 by Ann Ishimaru, Zachary Semke, and Japanese American community activists, Portland Taiko started with one homemade taiko and practice drums made from car tires. With community support, the group built and purchased new drums, presented its first full-length concert in 1997, and became a non-profit organization and toured North America in the early 2000s.

The group has headlined at arts festivals and concert halls, released three CDs, and has performed at hundreds of community events and school assemblies. Portland Taiko has commissioned and collaborated with numerous artists, including Hanayui, Shohei Kikuchi, Seiichi Tanaka, Kenny Endo, Tiffany Tamaribuchi, Subashini Ganesan, Obo Addy, Sivagami Vanka, Carla Mann, Mike Barber, and Minh Tran.

Portland Taiko performs throughout the Pacific Northwest, offers classes and workshops, and conducts team-building workshops for businesses and community groups. Portland Taiko is eager to share its artistry and educational programs throughout the greater Portland community and the country. To date, Portland Taiko has reached over 1 million audience members at over 1500 performances at theaters, schools, community events, and festivals.

Come set a while for a lovely chat with other members of your community. For no good reason other than to create community! Bring your own chair or we’ll have one for you. Nothing like just sitting side by side, watching the world go by, together, to remind us we are all connected and it’s just lovely to take a moment for each other each day. Vendor Orientation
All vendors, both new and returning, will be required to attend an annual Vendor Orientation. The orientation is designed to connect vendors with HFM staff and board of directors, review the rules and regulations, provide educational materials regarding licensing and insurance, and prepare for the upcoming season.
