Harvest Fest Times:

October 26th, Downtown Hillsboro, 9 am-1 pm

October 27th, Orenco Station, 10 am-2 pm

Harvest Fest is our annual end of market festival celebrating the harvest season.

Join us for some fun activities including:

  • Free Balloon Twisting: Saturday, 10 am-12 pm

  • Free Henna Art (kids only): Sunday, 11 am- 1 pm

  • Bean Bag Toss by Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic

  • Farmer John Scavenger Hunt

  • Meet and greet with Napoleon the Alpaca and friend! (Saturday only)

  • Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe

  • Mask Decorating

  • Guess How Many?

  • Pumpkin Ring Toss

  • Leaf Rubbing Cards hosted by Swallowtail Waldorf School and Farm

  • Farmer John Photo Booth at Pruitt’s Farm

  • Chili Cook-off

  • Pumpkin Carving Contest

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Bring your carved pumpkin to the Farmers’ Market Information Booth to be displayed at this years Harvest Fest! All pumpkins will be photographed and posted on our Instagram stories where our followers can vote for their favorite pumpkins! The winner will receive a market goody bag!

Chili Cook-off

Bring your famous chili to share with and win the hearts of market shoppers! Or taste them all and vote for your favorite!

The competition will take place:

Saturday, October 26th from 10 am-12 pm in Downtown Hillsboro

Sunday, October 27th from 11 am-1 pm at Orenco Station

The winners will be announced at 12:15 on Saturday and 1:15 pm on Sunday. Each winner will receive a certificate, bragging rights, an market bag, t-shirt, and mug!

Enter your homemade chili below!

Chili must be brought, in a slow cooker, to the Market Kitchen booth by 9 am on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday. Chili’s must be picked up at the end of each day.
