Come to 'What's Cooking' Farm to Table Class Saturday's in October

Chef Rodrigo demonstrates Farm to Table practices

We're so excited to have Double Up Foodbucks sponsoring our ‘What’s Cooking’ event throughout October each Saturday at the Downtown Hillsboro Farmers Market. We have two classes each Saturday using produce from the market to demonstrate how to prepare and think about how you cook with fresh and local ingredients. Chef Rodrigo from Comida Kin has wonderful insights, tips and makes cooking fun, healthy and delicious.

We cook up a sampling lunch (breakfast this weekend) for those with a SNAP card to sample.

This coming Saturday we will be cooking oatmeal with local fruit, nuts and honey at 10am and then a lunch demonstration at noon.

Recipe cards are provided to follow while the instruction takes place and to take with you.
